It’s surprisingly easy to become forgettable at pre-seed (i will not promote)
I used to think pre-seed was mostly about communicating the idea and market, it feels more like a positioning problem. a solid deck, early users, say all the right things around ICP, GTM, and market size, and still end up as one of many. What surprised me is how quickly people pattern-match, if it sounds even slightly familiar, it's already grouped with 10 other companies in their head, not bad, just forgottable. It’s figuring out what actually makes someone pause and care. everything else comes after that
