About

My pay-per-minute consultation app just crossed 100 downloads, 50 consultants, and got our first 2 paying users (₹0 spent). Need advice on what to do next. I will not promote Hi Friends, I'm excited to share my journey building on-demand consultation app -ConsultEase, with my folks. and it's finally ready live on the Google play and has hit this tiny milestone which feels amazing. It's crossed... 100+ downloads on Google play ( India ) 50+ downloads on Apple App store ( India) 50+ consultants (lawyers and CAs) 2 paying lawyers for verified badge 2 calls ( although we didn't aim for this yet ) no ads, no paid anything, pure organic. But this was not so straight forward, i scrapped the project and built from scratch 4 times. I will probably share all this in another post. The idea is pretty simple. Consultants are constantly answering queries on WhatsApp and calls ... for free. On the other hand, people are looking for genuine advice and are willing to pay . So what if there was an app that lets users call an expert instantly and pay per minute. No prior appointments, no physical meetings, no "let's connect tomorrow". What's interesting is, a lot of consultants do not realize how much they are loosing, until they understand our app. At this point we are only focused on onboarding Consultants (specially law, tax and finance) . What we have tried so far... \\- manually reached out to lawyers in Instagram and LinkedIn \\- replying to posts, no DM spamming \\- use simple hooks \\- personalized/contextual post replies. \\- founder led messages no automation yet. Now I need ideas from those who have successfully scaled their apps. 1) how to scale it organically at zero budget. 2) attract only quality consultants 3) strategy to attract people looking for consultation Honestly, this is so early, but those two paying customers make the app idea validated. Still fi

AI Score Reasoning

ConsultEase addresses a genuine pain point in the Indian professional services market—monetizing casual advice—but currently lacks a competitive moat or significant user-side traction. While the organic onboarding of consultants is a positive start, the business faces massive hurdles in disintermediation and scaling a two-sided marketplace without a unique technological edge.
