I built AI agents for doctors. Then I looked at what YC is funding"i will not promote"
been building AI systems for clinics for a while now. nothing crazy. patient books appointment via WhatsApp or the website. after the visit, they get a follow up message checking if everything's okay. few days later another one asking how they're feeling about the specific issue they got treated for. then a review ask slipped in naturally. for dentists, a 6 month reminder for the next visit. simple. solves a real problem. tested it with actual doctors.and i'm not stopping there either. been talking to more doctors, going deeper into the space, figuring out what else can be automated. what are the actual painful parts of running a clinic that nobody's building for. trying to find more problems worth solving. and yeah i know none of this is groundbreaking. i know. but then i open YC's latest batch and half the startups are just "AI for \[insert random niche\]" with a landing page, a demo video, and zero real users. and they're getting $500k. not bitter. genuinely not. just find it funny that "basic" and "it actually works" are somehow not the same thing as "fundable." maybe the lesson is stop solving problems and start telling stories about solving problems.or maybe i'm just cooked and need to sleep.
