About

Honestly just thinking out loud here and could use some outside human perspective. I launched a SaaS back in April 2025. Over the past year we've grown to about 2,300 users with new signups coming in daily. Sounds great on paper right? Except our conversion to paid is sitting at like 2-3% and we're pulling in maybe $150-200/month. Not even recurring yet — we just recently switched from a credits model to monthly subscriptions. So here's what's messing with my head: for me 2300 users kind of proves the market might have interest in the idea. New users keep showing up. But almost nobody wants to pay. And I genuinely can't tell if the problem is: \- The product itself (maybe it's just not solving a painful enough problem) \- How we're presenting it (pricing page, onboarding, messaging) \- The acquisition pipeline (maybe we're attracting the wrong users) How do you even figure out which one it is? I keep looking at guys like Marc Lou and other indie founders who seem to just wake up one day doing $10k-$100k months on Stripe. Did it just click for them overnight? Was there a moment where everything shifted? Or were they also stuck at $200/month at some point wondering if they were wasting their time? I feel like I'm at a crossroads. Part of me thinks I could be sitting on a gold mine and I just need to figure out the right angle. The other part of me wonders if I'm just being stubborn and should move on to something new. Anyone been in this spot before? How did you decide whether to keep pushing or walk away?
