I will not promote. How to launch a process/system
I will not promote If you created a process/system to be used in the ditigal book reading industry how should the process to launch look like. For starters Ive been working on it for a couple of months and have the systems for multiple book types read to just insert the media. What im struggling to do is understand how to launch. Ive been doing alot of research and there is a split. Half say you need to apply for a provisional patent first to keep others from trying to build the same thing while others say first you need to launch and get users and build the revenue first to then apply for a provisional patent and then a non provisional patent since most solo startups cant afford the 20-30k it takes. I havent made the process public yet besides making a landing page for the brand with no mention of the system. Any advice would be appreciated.
This is a conceptual-stage project with no evidence of product-market fit, technical defensibility, or team experience. The founder's preoccupation with patenting a 'process' before achieving any traction or public validation is a significant red flag for early-stage investment.
